Deed from Dr. E.H. Hale & wife Mary to John L. Reedy in consideration of $125 for 20 P. of land being lot #3 as laid out by Miles Haffly in thevillage of Belleville. Recorded in Mifflin Co. Deed Bk. QQ, Pg. 311. Thisproperty was subsequently sold to Lydia Roper as recorded in Deed Bk.WW36 in 1878. Dr. E.H. Hale was from Bellefont, Centre Co., PA.
