18. Johannes RIEDY was born about 1751 in Goshenhoppen, Montgomery County, PA. He appears on the Heidelberg tax list for the years 1772 and 1778, and is still in Heidelberg during the 1790 Census. He name appears in the Buffalo Valley area and then dissapears completely.

During the Revolution he enlisted in the Heidelberg Malitia. General Muster in 1772, 6th class, 5th Company, 6th Battalion. He received depreciation pay and is listed as a soldier of the revolution and a ranger of the frontier.

Johannes RIEDY and Elizabeth had the following children:

56	i.	John RIEDY.
57	ii.	Conrad RIEDY was born on 23 Apr 1777 in Northampton County, PA. He was christened on 22 Mar 1778 in Northampton County, PA.
