Hezekiah "Kiah" died 24 December 1915 in Tom's Creek, Wise County, Virginia, at the age of 70, and was buried in Edwards Cemetery, Sandy Ridge, Dickenson County, VA. He married Lovada Derona McFall 19 August 1865 in Gladesville, Wise County, Virginia. She was born 26 December 1849 in Yancey County, NC. Lovada died 8 August 1914 in Tom's Creek, Wise County, Virginia, at the age of 64, and was buried in Edwards Cemetery, Sandy Ridge, Dickenson County, VA. Kiah served with his father-in-law, Capt James Madison McFall in Col. Menefee's Company during the Civil War. NOTE: Directions to gravesite; from Coebeer,Virginia go north on RT# 72 then east on RT# 652 go 4.3 miles, thru Tom's Creek. Then left on Rabbit Ridge Road (unmarked) at grocery store.
