| Bob Reedy, son of Jesse and Bertha Reedy shared this photo with us. It is "Grandpa Ike and Granny Bert "and four of their kids about spring/summer 1920. Bobs father is about six months old in this photo. Note from Bob about this photo: The baby Granny Bert is holding is my dad, Jesse. The boy Grandpa Ike is holding is Robert or Bob as he was known.. The girl standing beside Granny Bert is Ellen and the one standing beside Ike is Leodia. We are pretty much certain of this... they are all three older than Dad...and Bob was next older than Dad... you can see the resemblance in all of them. It was a custom in those days for baby boys to wear dresses...convenience I guess. | |
